Simone Peter (born 3 December 1965 in Quierschied) is a German Alliance '90/The Greens politician. Since October 2013, she has been co-chairman of the German political party Alliance '90/The Greens, together with Cem Özdemir. After being editor-in-chief of Eurosolar, she was founding director of a state-supported communications agency promoting Renewable energies.
